I'm so proud of everyone!!! And i think we are the only choir who endured the heat and stood without fidgeting for more than 30 minutes total. SOLID! that's what i'm talking about! This is my best SYF experience in my (close to) 6 years as a chorister. I came down on stage smiling, because i know we did the best we could in a competition environment. I know some may not have felt that feeling of crucifixus, but some did. It's subjective.
Some may also compare SYF experience to Oloumouc Song Festival. Obviously, we can't really compare like that because..
1. we were in a foreign land
2. the seniors were with us
3. we were the sole Absolute Winner
4. we were scolded for every single practice overseas before the competition
5. we went through 5 days on intense focus (even during meals, we couldn't talk haha)
6. the weather was nice
Nonetheless, i just want to tell everyone.. DON'T BE SAD BECAUSE THE CHOIR JOURNEY (FOR J2S) COMES TO AN END. RATHER, BE GRATEFUL AND SMILE BECAUSE YOU WERE ABLE TO BE PART OF THIS EXPERIENCE :D I'm very grateful to the committee for helping me along the way, my classmates for being so understanding and everyone who gave me encouragement and motivation along the way.
Also, thank you seniors for coming back to support! <3 You guys are awesome too!!
