I had about 10 hours of sleep last night cuz i was so tired after the performance!
Speaking of which, it was AWESOME. Well, not as awesome as Limelight 2008, but yea, it will definitely be etched in my memory (:
I was backstage, listening to the alumni and some of my peers sing in awe. They were really awesome and i wanted to be out there and be part of the song >< Long way to go!
Second time in UCC and the changing room is awesome! really makes you feel like an artiste (: I wasn't as rah rah as the rest of the people were because i wanted to stay focused and i was quite nervous because i knew if not for the alumni helping us, we would have not been as good.
For cedar Limelight 2008, i remembered how the altos were scolded so badly because our sound could not travel and we practiced from 10am all the way to the actual performance itself. So much sweat and tears, especially to my dearest alto2s (there were so few of us) Though we didn't sound as good as we hoped, i knew that everyone tried their very best, that was why i cried at the end.
But i didn't cry yesterday haha, i just thought that perhaps, i grew more immune to all these stress and i actually enjoyed myself on stage. Ms Lim didn't really scold us, but i felt that we could have done better. Nevertheless, it was a great experience and i was really touched by my batchmates and seniors (: thank you tenors, for the flowers, zt for withstanding my "violent make up session", altos for always being there, friends who came down to support and my number one fan girl HAHA (charis liew so screamed my name all the way from the 3rd storey)
We still have 2 more weeks to the big day in olomouc. Let's just stop fulling around, bear with the session, enjoy the music and go wild after that :D
